• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Supply of Furniture's SWIVEL CHAIR 1. The swivel chair will be used in the consulting lecture room and offices, by the students and lecturers 2. The chairs should feature heavy duty construction, easy-to-use with gas spring seat height adjustment, and 360 degrees swivel. 3. The chair should be designed with ergonomic features to prevent backache 4. The height adjustment, the seat, and backrest should ensure comfortable lumbar support for mid and lower back and complete with curved armrests to ease shoulder strain 5. The chair-s seat and backrest should be made of high-density quality foam and covered with high grade genuine leather for effective cleaning and long life. 6. The upholstery material should black and should be resistant to abrasion and fading 7. The backrest should have an inbuilt lumbar support 8. The chair should revolve 3600 with tilting backrest. 9. The metal part of the frame of the chair should be made of heavy gauge steel frames with enamelfinished 10. The wooden parts if applicable should be made of well seasoned durable solid wood finished with a high-quality polish 11. The chair should be provided with arm rests and 5 solid casters 12. Castors should be stationery when seated on it 13. Seat should be approximately 50 cm wide x 50 cm deep x 10 cm thick. 14. Back rest of seat should be 50 cm wide x 60 cm high x 10 cm thick. 15. Seat height should adjust from approximately 45 cm up to approximately 70cm 16. Must support weight up to 200kg 10 2 STORAGE CABINET 1. This is a cabinet for office use for storing documents and other important items 2. The cabinet should have two section 3. The upper section equipped with at least three open shelves with inter shelves spaces of at least 35cm 4. The lower section should be equipped with at least two shelves with lockable doors 5. The depth of the shelves should be at least 25cm 6. Each shelf should be approximately 120cm wide 7. Should be made of well-seasoned wood finished with scratch resistant and water proof material 8. The table should include drawer cabinet, epoxy coated steel: minimum of 2 lockable drawers (same colour as frame), 2 keys included 4 4 LABORATORY STOOL 1. For seating student during laboratory session. 2. Stool top designed to prevent pressure sore when seated 3. Should be a minimum of 600mm high 4. Should be able to support a weight up to 200kg
