• Title : PREQUALIFICATION OF SERVICE PROVIDERS
  Description : 1. Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited (CMC) intends to white-wash its Warehouses and Sheds to make them ready for the receipt of cocoa during the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 cocoa seasons (October to September each year).2. The objective of this invitation is to shortlist Service Providers who will be invited to submit offers to be considered for the above-mentioned job at Tema, Kumasi and Takoradi operational areas. 3. Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited therefore invites interested and eligible organizations and service providers to submit applications to be pre-qualified for labour-only contracts for the whitewashing of the Sheds and Warehouses.4. Applicants will be shortlisted in accordance with the pre-qualification document, procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act 2003, (Act 663) as amended and the guidelines issued by the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) of the Republic of Ghana.5. This invitation for pre-qualification is open to potential applicants who are able to demonstrate proven technical, financial and managerial capacity to undertake whitewashing of cocoa sheds. Prospective service providers and contractors must have carried out same or similar jobs for CMC and/or other Institution and must demonstrate the willingness and commitment to meet the pre-qualification criteria.6. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from the Estate Manager, Room 106 and/or the Deputy Procurement Manager, Room 3, Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited, First Floor of the Swanzy Shopping Arcade from 9.00am to 4.30pm local time from Monday, 13th July, 2020 onwards till the close of tender.7. A complete set of pre-qualification document in English shall be purchased by interested eligible service providers on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of One Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢100.00) payable at the Cash Office, Room 207, Second Floor, Cocoa House - Accra. The method of payment will be by cash or bank draft payable to Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited. 8. Tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 10.30 am. Tuesday, 28th July, 2020. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after deadline for Tender submission. 9. Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited reserves the right to seek further clarifications and to visit and inspect the business premises of the applicant to verify the information provided.10. Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited will ensure information that is received from companies is treated confidentially and shall be for the sole use of the pre-qualification exercise.11.
