Description : Consulting Service for the Preparation of Resettlement Action Plan for Participatory Upgrading of Targeted Priority Flood Prone Low-Income Communities in the Odaw River Basin, Accra. The Ministry of Inner City and Zongo Development has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Greater Accra Resilient and Integrated Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The Project will be implemented through five-interrelated Components, namely:Component 1: Climate Resilient Drainage and Flood Mitigating Activities (Implemented by Ministry of Works and Housing) Component 2: Solid Waste Management Capacity Improvements (Implemented by Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources); Component 3: Participatory Upgrading of Targeted Flood Prone Low-Income Communities and Local Government Support (Implemented by Ministry of Inner City and Zongo Development and Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development);Component 4: Project Management; and Component 5: Contingent Emergency Response Component (CERC) - COVID-19 Emergency Preparedness and Response Project (Implemented by Ministry of Health).Under Component 3, the MICZD will support participatory urban upgrading in three targeted communities located in high flood-prone areas; Nima, Alogboshie and Akweteyman.
