Tender Description : 1. Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited (CMC) intends to prequalify suppliers and dealers of Rice, Cooking Oils, Tomato, Canned Fish and other food products.2. Cocoa Marketing Company (Gh.) Limited therefore invites dealers, prospective suppliers interested and eligible firms to submit applications to be prequalified and be invited to tender for the supply of the items under a framework agreement.3. Framework agreements are long-term or blanket purchase agreements that establish the general terms that will govern contracts to be awarded during the subsistence of the agreement. Call-off contracts to be awarded under this arrangement would be done through a secondary procurement process. 4. The duration of the proposed framework arrangement shall not exceed Three (3) years and no new firms shall be added during the term of the Framework Agreement. The Agreement to be concluded shall be Multi-Supplier. The selection of framework supplier alone does not guarantee award of call-off contracts.5. Tenderers will be shortlisted in accordance with the framework procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act 2003, (Act 663) as amended and the Guidelines issued by the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) of the Republic of Ghana.6.
