• Tenders are invited for Consultancy for Rapid Performance Review of Dignity for All (d4a) Child Protection Project in Ghana Aim and objectives of the consultancy This assignment is aimed at ascertaining the actual status of implementation and performance to date of the D4A Ethiopia coffee project in terms of its relevance, efficiency, and effectiveness in strengthening child protection systems in the Asunafo North Municipality communities to adequately prevent, respond to, and manage child rights and protection issues, and also determine whether the project achieved its intended outcomes and impact, including its sustainability. The assignment will also provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and promote operational improvement, learning, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned. Specifically, the performance review will determine whether the project i. Increased access to a safe and friendly school environment for children in cocoa-growing communities ii. Increased community capacities to raise awareness and advocate on child rights, participation & protection, monitor and report cases of child rights violations iii. Increased CSOs- capacity, voice, and influence on child labour and child protection iv. Increased resilience and skills for self-protection and protection of others for boys and girls v. Increased duty-bearers platform at the national and sub-national level to ensure child-rights promotion 3. Consultancy Timeframe The consultant is expected to produce all of the deliverables outlined below within 21 days in the month of July, 2021. The preferred start date for this role is 1st July 2021. A cover letter introducing the submission; ii. A complete CV of the consultant outlining the relevant skills and experience; iii. Three references from organizations with whom similar assignments have been undertaken outlining the consultant-s role, performance, and the project deliverables; iv. Technical proposal detailing consultant-s proposed methodology and work plan; v. Financial proposal with a detailed budget for the assignment (inclusive of tax); vi. Consultant(s) are encouraged to include any additional information they believe demonstrates added value for Fairtrade Africa within the scope of this assignment.
